Performing Navigations: (Re)Mapping the Museum
A research-creation with artists, architects, and designers to develop a concept for mapping the museum that amplifies the role of the body as a spatial and sensory tool for navigation. This event explored how the body, in relation to other media such as signage and 3-D materials, could activate and create an allowance for new uses and inhabitation in the underutilized public spaces of the museum. Interfacing with guards, museum staff and visitors to the museum, this event proposed new modes of operation and playful exchange within the Hammer.
