I just completed a 3-day residency at Penpynfarch in Wales. It was a self-created residency that included moving in the studio (see image), reading and writing. I am doing research into the experience of the dancer in gallery and museum performances. Starting with my own practice, I re-visited my creative practice for three works that I have been a part of and/or created. Those are Trio A (1966, Rainer); Disappearing Acts; and Punt.Point. The quiet of the residency allowed for a focus not found in London. This is the first residency of this kind that I have done and I will definitely return.
