The Experience & Value of Live Art
As part of a nine-month research project that addresses the difficult question of what young people ‘get’ from contemporary art, Sara was invited by the Tate as a guest artist to lead a workshop on choreographic methodologies and collaborative performance practices for a group of local youth. The workshop included forms of notation and the students developed their own performance works and manifestos around performance. This workshop culminated in a live performance in the East Room of the Tate.
